Harare, Zimbabwe – Zimbabwe and Jamaica’s musical ties take centre stage on April 4, 2026, as Gateway Stream Media, Massive Events and Roughmix host Afro Culture Connect at the Harare International Convention Centre (HICC).
The event, dubbed “A Tale of Two Cities,” will headline Zimbabwean musician Jah Prayzah and Jamaican reggae star Alaine, in a collaboration organisers say highlights cultural exchange through music.
Supporting acts include local performers Feli Nandi, Xiba and Nisha T, while DJs and hosts are expected to maintain momentum throughout the night.
Organisers say the concert will blend African rhythms with reggae influences, reflecting shared cultural roots between the two countries.
“Alaine’s magnetic presence and Jah Prayzah’s Zimbabwean swagger promise an unforgettable night,” organisers said.
Gateway Stream Media officer Elton Kurima described the event as more than entertainment.
“Afro Culture Connect is more than a concert – it’s a cultural movement,” he said.
Gateway Stream Media, a subsidiary of Rainbow Tourism Group, said the initiative is part of ongoing efforts to promote local talent and foster international cultural exchange.
